Reason for undergoing surgery: I always mocked my lantern jaw,
asymmetry chin, and malocclusion. It was been my insecurity for a long time. I
feel it’s better to undergo the surgery rather than keep stressed about it.
The reason I choose Eu: The Youtube channel and
website of the hospital are always newly updated. That gave me the biggest
trustworthy. Also, the consultation makes trust assurance.
Surgery
date
After I woke up from amnesia, I was out of
it and I felt sick. But I was relieved by what the nurse told me that the
surgery was well done. Of course, my throat hurt and I vomit at midnight so it
was a very exhausting and painful day.

Today I go for a walk for the first time
after the surgery. But I feel like I need to be very careful, I have only been
out about 15 minutes. Also, I really want to wash my hair. I can’t wash it
because the tape between my eyebrows needs to be kept dry. I wish I can remove
it fast.

Now it’s been three weeks since I finished
the surgery, and there’s nothing much feel uncomfortable. If I must say, only
the wafer and the pronunciation when I talk would be the issues. Now the
swelling has gone a lot but I still can feel pulling around the cheeks and
lips. After the uncomfortable feeling has disappeared a lot, now I mostly think
about this. I want to recover well and eat what I want to have as much as I
could.
2months
It’s already been two months since I have
been through the surgery. I can’t see any big swelling and I can have most of
the food except for too-hard or chewy ones. Also as the sensation get back, my
teeth tingle. I don’t know if is it normal. Except for this, there’s nothing
uncomfortable and I have no regrets about deciding to do the surgery.

I went to see a doctor and dr. shin told me
my chin has been well adhered. Also now I can start to eat whatever I want.
That relieves me a lot and I ate fried chicken for late-night dinner so I felt
really great that night. Still, half of the palate is numb, but there’s no big
uncomfortableness. Except for a little bit of the tingly sensation of the upper
teeth when I brush my teeth. I used to have very low self-confidence but now I
feel more confident after surgery.

It’s been 4 months after surgery and now
I’m so satisfied with the result. Sense of the mouth has been returned by 60%.
There’s no difficulty at all except for the braces. I’m so glad to have all the
food that I was craving for a long time without too chewy food.

months
Now there’s no problem eating even
something hard. So I’m having food just like I used to have before I underwent
the surgery. The sensation of the mouth has recovered by about 90%. I need to
wait for just a little bit more to get rid of braces, so I’m very much looking
forward to doing it.

Now it’s been 6 months after surgery I’m
having a comfy life. I don’t even remember that I did the surgery. I’m not sure
about all my sensation has been back but at least I feel like so. I still doing
orthodontic treatment and I want to remove it fast so that I can brush my teeth
easily.

Since it’s been 8 months that I’ve been
through surgery, the orthodontic treatment is a fishing phrase. I’m enjoying my
life without any uncomfortableness.

Finally!! Now I will remove the braces next
month and put in a retainer. I know it will be another challenge. But I’m
looking forward to the fact I will remove the braces and it will make me feel
more comfortable.
